When Noel Devine committed to WVU, Mountaineer opponents suddenly got a little nervous.  This was definitely for good reason.  Noel Devine is practically an urban legend in Florida.  A quick look at his high school stats and one may wonder if they were from a video game (High School game highlights below):

Senior Season: 2,045 Yards & 31 Touchdowns

Career: 7,002 Yards & 92 Touchdowns

Espn / Scouts Inc. describes Noel Devine as "a human blur who possesses rare explosiveness, vision and stop/start ability. His ability to accelerate is elite, and when he gets to the second level, he is a threat to take it the distance each time he touches the ball."

Noel Devine also has some serious Freshman season prospects.  Devine is expected to carries opportunities as both a kick and punt returner, as well as many carries in the powerful Mountaineer backfield of Steve Slaton and Pat White.  Update: Through the 1st two games of the season, Devine has scored 3 touchdowns and ripped off several highlight worthy runs.  Enjoy these highlight films from his high school days!
